Sathya is the best-selling author of In My Hands, a YA fantasy-adventure novel, and ‘The Crane in the Mist’, a short story published in the anthology, Tales Untold: Mythos Around the World. Her stories are inspired by her childhood and travels, especially time spent visiting her family in Kodagu, India, where she learned the art of storytelling from her grandparents.

Sathya is a member of the Society for Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI), and The Author’s Guild and is an active participant in the children’s book community through events such as Multicultural Children’s Book Day and World Read Aloud Day (WRAD).
